Seed Sizes:
Legume Seed box (small hopper):
All small round types seeds that flow easily and are generally planted at a fairly low rate, typically from as low as 3 lbs. per acre to about 65 lbs. per acre. This would include all clover, alfalfa, brassicas and many flowers that have seed counts from about 100,000 seeds/lb to well over 7,000,000 seeds/lb. The seed size diameter would be from about 3/16" (5 mm) to as small as 1/128" (0.019 mm).

Large Seedbox:
All cereal grains, rye, wheat, oats barley and rice. Any seeds that are irregular shaped (elongated, rice shape) but still flow easily should be planted with this box. Most cool season grasses, such as fescue, ryegrass and bluegrass would be planted with this box. All types of beans, peas, corn and sunflowers can be planted with this box. Seed sizes would be from about 3/8" (9.5 mm) elongated up to about 3/8" (9.5 mm) diameter round. Seeding rates are typically from about 25 lbs. per acre to 400 lbs. per acre

Native Grass Seed box:
Any seed that does not flow well because of chaff, beards, trash, etc should be planted in this box. This includes many annual and perennial warm season native grasses that are very light and fluffy. Any seed type that will not flow easily through your fingers when held apart would need to go in this box. Seeding rates typically are from 8 to 100 lbs. per acre

Customers may pick-up their machines if requested. If you decide to pick-up your machine(s) please read the following:

  • Call to set up an Appointment
  • Our warehouse team will carefully load the tiller crate on your trailer or pickup truck bed with a forklift

  • We must Charge 7% North Carolina Sales Tax on all pick up items.
  • If you are in North Carolina and would like it shipped to you, add 7% sales tax to the price on the product.

Important Notes:

  • The definition of a "Business" to a freight carrier is: Listed in the local phone book, posted business hours, staffed during regular business hours, and off load capabilities (in a timely manner).
  • A Farm is not considered a business to freight carriers. There is a residential charge for them to go to a farm, church, school, construction site or other limited delivery area.
  • A home business is not considered a business unless it meets the requirements below.
  • Customers will be responsible for any additional fees due to incorrect shipping information. 
  • Hold at Terminal for Pickup Customers will be responsible for any storage charges due to late pickups - After 48 hours storage fees are applied

 

Liftgate Service:

Liftgate service is available for both Residential Deliveries and Commercial/Business Deliveries. This service is used when there is no forklift or other equipment to offload your products from the truck to the ground.

  • Liftgate service costs an additional fee.

 

Residential Delivery:

Residential Deliveries are available to your home with or without Liftgate Service.

  • Residential Deliveries cost an additional fee.

With Residential Deliveries the carrier transports freight directly to customers homes. If you request a residential delivery without a liftgate, you will need to be present to meet the truck upon arrival and unload your product(s) using a forklift, tractor with forks, or similar equipment.  If you don’t have the equipment to unload heavy products, request for liftgate.

 

Business/Commercial Delivery:

The definition of “Business/Commercial Delivery” to a freight company is:

  • A company with regular posted business hours
  • Is staffed during regular posted business hours
  • Is listed in the local phonebook
  • Has offload capabilities such as a loading dock or forklift.

If your “Business/Commercial Address” does not have a loading dock or forklift, you must request liftgate.

List of locations not considered “Business/Commercial Locations”:

  • Farms, Ranches, Parks
  • Colleges, Universities, Schools
  • Construction sites
  • Home-based businesses, businesses in residential areas
  • Restaurants
  • Military sites
  • Golf Courses, Country Clubs

 

Freight Terminal Delivery:

Shipping your order(s) to a Freight Terminal when you can pick it up can save you money. Please contact us and we will provide you with the location of the Freight Terminal that services your area so you can decide if this option is best for you.

  • Terminal Pick-Up Customers pickup from terminal within 48hrs
  • Hold at Terminal for Pickup Customers will be responsible for any storage charges due to late pickups - After 48 hours storage fees are applied

 

 

Return Policy

Styron Ag Parts Company retains the exclusive and sole right whether an item may be returned, exchanged or order canceled. In order to obtain a refund or exchange, prior approval must be given by Styron Ag. Styron Ag will accept returns on item(s) within seven (7) days of delivery, of new, unused item(s) in original packaging. Refunds accepted by Styron Ag will be for the cost of the item(s) only, less any restocking fees--see below.

Shipping fees, freight charges, credit card processing fees, delivery and/or handling charges are not refundable. Customers ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RETURN SHIPPING FEES. In the event Styron Ag arranges for return shipping on the customer's behalf, return shipping fees will be deducted from any refund provided to customer. Styron Ag will not accept returns of any item(s) after seven (7) days from delivery. All returned item(s) will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

    Well built machine. Orignailly thought it was goiing to take 3 weeks but we had it in 1. Very pleased. Good customer service.
